What Is Jelqing?
Jelqing (pronounced "jel-king") is a physical therapy exercise for your penis. It is meant to increase the hardness, length, and girth by stimulating blood pressure and flow to your penis.
Pretty cool. Right?
Jelqing exercises are the heart of most penis enlargement devices. This is also usually where most men (including myself) start when it comes to penis enhancement.
Not only is this exercise cost no money to do on your own, it is one of the safest methods of increasing the size of your penis.
The word "jelqing" is said to be of Arabian origin. Though no one knows for sure. In Arabic, the word means "milking".
Jelqing has been a common practice in the Western world for about 40 years now. It has been around for quite a while so you are not alone in wanting to know how to do this.
Why Should You Be Jelqing
Well...you want to increase your dick size. Right? I assume that is the reason why you are reading this article. 🙂
If that is case, then jelqing is a great place to start to male enhancement journey.
As I mentioned earlier, it is one of the safest methods of natural penis enlargement.
Not to mention, it is by far the cheapest method to grow your dick to above average proportions. When this exercise is performed correctly, this exercise is very effective and safe.
Does Jelqing Really Work?
I know we have heard the male enhancement community talk about dick pills, testosterone boosters, and other shitty stuff on that market that does not work.
Like you, I spend a lot of money searching for searching for answers to this issue. On the mainstream stuff, I had no success. I had to gallows of different penis enlargement forums to find this information.
This is the first method of dick enlargement I tried that actually works.
The key to success (like anything else) is consistent and daily effort toward your goals.
If you work on this (and incorporate the details I mentioned below) every day then you will see results after matter of months.
I caution you though. You need to keep your expectations in check and stay committed to your cause.
Most people that fail at enlarging their dick for primarily three reasons.
1) They are not serious to begin with. They one of those people who are too afraid of failure and read themselves to death about the subject. We all know this is useless and a waste of time.
Take the information from this guide and go do it. Start out slow and gather more information as you go along.
2) They have unrealistic expectations. This is way too common. Almost as common as the first reason I mentioned. A lot of dudes think they have an 9 inch penis after a month or so.
No. It does not work this way. This things take time and daily effort. Just going to gym and try to pack on muscle. You have to slowly work at it.
3) They did not take the proper precautions or fail to follow the jelqing procedure correctly. Therefore, they do not see the results they want and quit.
This usually happens out of impatience. Kind of like reason number two, except these guys will stick with it for awhile and wonder why they are not consistently making gains.
It is because they never took to the time to completely read and internalize this guide. These guys said "Oh. I think I got the jist of it".
Do not do this. Follow our plan to the "T" and you should be go to go and dick enhancement journey. Do not worry. You are in good hands.
Is Jelqing Safe?
This was my first question. Once I got a solid method down of how to this. I asked myself this question.
"Am I going to fuck up my dick?!"
I know. Life would suck hard if your penis was permanently damaged. Trust me. If you follow our routine properly that will not happen.
Jelqing is perfectly safe when done correctly.
However...if not done correctly...that is where bros can run into some issues and fuck themselves up. We will get into that a bit later in the post and take an even deeper dive into this in future posts.
For now, just keep reading. Let's transition into how to get tarted and some supplies you might need.
Side Note: There are not many academic research or medical studies behind the effectiveness of jelqing. Probably because no one wants to fund a research project on how to make your dick bigger. Whatever.
Tools You Might Need To Get Started
You will probably need some kind of skin friendly lubricant to start out with. Using lubricant during these exercises is called "wet jelqing".
Lubricants will make the experience much more pleasant. "Dry jelqing" can be irritating and rough for the skin. Therefore stick to "wet jelqing". At until you are experienced at this stuff.
There are plenty of items you can use from lotions to oils. This can be any of the following items. Here is a list below:
- Baby Oil
- Coconut Oil
- Regular Skin Lotion
- KY Jelly
- Virgin Oil
- Skin Lotion
You can try any of the products listed above. I prefer oils because they are good for the skin and prevent discoloration of the foreskin.
Oils keeps the skin moist. Give some of these a try and see which one works best for you. Everyone is different.
However, this is not rocket science. Do not use anything as a lubricant that is inherently bad for the skin or your body. This should not require too much thought but I will give you some tips.
Do not use body soap, hand soap, or shampoo. These substances can be really bad for your skin if rubbed on for prolonged amounts of time. Plus they can cause dryness of the skin.
How To Jelq For Beginners
Let's just get right into it. Follow the instructions below:
First you will need to warm your body and penis up. You can accomplish this by taking a 5 minute hot-warm shower or wrapping your penis in a warm towel for 15 minutes.
Do not do anything to irritate your dick. Obviously, that is counter productive to the exercise. Slowly massage your dick after warming for a couple minutes.
1) First moisturize your penis with lubricant. Make sure it completely covered with whatever substance you used for lubrication.
2) Now you want to bring your penis to a 50% to 80% of a full erection. So send "happy" thoughts through your mind and softly stroke your penis to get hard.
3) You do not want to be fully erect though. That will make the rest of the exercise very difficult. We want to be able to effectively push and send blood through the shaft and head of the penis. DO NOT JELQ ON A FULL ERECTION.
4) Use your stronger hand to form an "OK Grip". This means joining your pointing finger (forefinger) and your thumb together. At the same time, leave the rest of the fingers pointing downward.
Imagine the way the you would write with a pencil or marker. Just shift that grip so your fingers are pointing downward from the bottom of your penis and thumb is gripped on top of your shaft.
You want to grab your dick as close to pubic bone possible without crushing your balls. This grip should not hurt in any way. The picture below displays the grip.
5) Employ a tiny bit of pressure to the grip and slowly stroke and move blood up the penis. Once again, the grip should not hurt but it should enough to be able to push blood up the shaft.
You will need to experiment what works best for you when it comes to grip-pressure. Start out light at first though. You will figure it out as you gain more experience.
6) Let go of the grip as you approach your glans. Do not jelq your glans. Each repetition should be about three seconds.
7) As you stroke further up the base, use your opposite hand and create the same OK grip around bottom of the base where you started. So as you let go with one hand, you can start another repetition with the opposite hand.
This meant to prevent injury and long term damage. You can use the same hot shower and soft massage you used to warm up. This is not too crucial. I did not do the first couple months and it did not hinder my gains.
However, I did always feel better after a cool down. When I intensified my penis training, I feel it did play a role in preventing injury. Therefore, I suggest you add it to routine.
Give our cool down routine a try. Everyone is different. Modify if you need to. I would not worry or put too much thought into it though. Focus on getting the exercises right and setting up an easy cool down routine to follow.
This is a very similar concept to resistance training and lifting weight. In that you exhaust the muscle to get blood (which carries nutrients) pumping to muscle.
The muscle group is broken down via resistance training and built back up with the nutrients the blood carries to the muscle as it recovers.
We want to get blood pumping into the shaft of the penis via the jelqing exercises.
These exercises break down certain muscles in the penis which will be repaired with nutrients carried by the blood. The muscle will get bigger and stronger as a result.
Like weight lifting, we do not want to overwork the muscle. That will not allow the muscle group to recover and progress will hindered as a result. Work the muscle and then let it rest. Simple.

Angle Of The Stroke Depends On The Goal
Of course, you can jelq in different directions. We encourage that you switch it up every now again. The angle in which jelq is the area where internal pressure will build up.
Meaning that is where you will see the most gains. So if you jelq and lightly stretch the penis at the end of the stroke, you gain length on your dick.
Upward Angle - This is when your dick is pointed upward to the ceiling. I think it is generally harder to jelq in this direction. You need to have a harder erection and it is harder to grip the base of my dick.
However, this angle allows you to stretch the Tunica. This will encourage girth gains and should be done periodically for well rounded penis enhancement.
Downward Angle - This uses an overhead OK grip. The penis is semi-erect and allows you to really grip the shaft. It will hit certain ligaments that will promote length gains.
However if you change up the grip and where you send internal pressure to while moving upward on the shaft, then you see gains in girth. There are different types of jelqing grips for different types of goals.
We encourage you to try different things and be well rounded in your approach. This is how you will get the maximum benefit from penis enlargement.
Different Jelqing Grips To Try
Overall type of grip you use depends on your goals. We will get into more of that below.
You want to your strength to start out light at first and then match the level of erection, ideally. However, we recommend beginners start out light and work their way up.
This is to minimize the chances of fucking something up and quitting early in the process. You need to condition your penis like you would a muscle group in the gym.
Position Of The Body - You just need to make sure you are in a comfortable position to maximum effect from this exercise. You stand up or sit down with your legs raised above your dick to maximize blood flow.
Rest - Make sure to give your dick rest. Especially at first when you are just getting started. Do not overwork, as it will hinder your gains.
Pressure - Make you are not applying too much pressure to the penis and that you are performing the stroke for the appropriate length of time.
Stroke Time - Keep your strokes between 2 and 3 seconds. You do not want too short or long strokes. That can cause damage in your penis. No bueno.
Use a stopwatch or timer on your smartphone or computer. You can use the timer on videos if you are watching porn. You count to yourself as well but I find this method a little more inaccurate due to human error.
It is up to you though. Figure out what works best for your situation and needs and act accordingly. Now on to different types of grips.
Your can use your entire hand or just attach your thumb and pointing finger. The fingers do not have to join but it much easier to trap the blood if they are.
As I mentioned earlier, this is very similar to the OK grip but the pointing finger and thumb are not attached.
This grip is going to spread internal pressure to sides of the penis. This encourages an increase in girth.
Remember "Go-gurt"? It was yogurt in a plastic tube that was meant to be served to children. You would use the U Grip initially to slurp out the yogurt so not too much came out at once.
However as the yogurt as the amount of yogurt diminished in the tube you would switch to the "OK GRIP" to trap more yogurt at a time to eat. These jelqing grips work the same way.
Either way, you want to jelq upward with your palm facing toward your body. This really works your corpus cavernosa.
This is jelqing that focuses on a specific area of the penis. This is mainly used to fixed curves that might in your penis. This is can also be good for encouraging girth gains.
This is mainly used to correct a curved penis. This is jelqing and sending blood flow against the curve of the penis.
I have never done this personally so I cannot speak from experience but it has seemed to work for multiple people.
